Stated so beautifully... It was such a remarkable time. Patriotic. Honest. Hard working. You can do anything you set your mind to if you’re willing to work towards that goal. It was a safe time too, and respect for authority was a given. Times have really changed. I don’t think we will recapture that America. My parents were staunch Democrats... Somehow I’ve always been Republican. I’m certain my parents would have been done with the Clinton’s after Bills escapades in desecrating the White House... They would vote Trump, and admire his honesty.
