I liked Charlie Chan movies when I was little, but don't have any in my disc collection. Did anyone else play CC, besides Toler?

We also have all of the Laurel&Hardy movies, Three Stooges ones, and the Marx Brothers ones.
Sidney Toler was from Warrensburg, Mo and got his start by playing Irish cops. He is buried in Wichita, ‘s I believe. His first Chan was Honolulu. He took over for Warner Oland who had died. Oland was Swedish and the first actor to play Chan.
Re Bob Hope; not a lot I like him in. But he had great chemistry with Goddard and Virginia Mayo (?) Princess and the Pirate. I get Rhonda Flemming confused with Mayo.
Margaret Ruthford just had “it” for Miss Marple, too bad Christy felt that way.
Glad you enjoyed your kiddos! I didn’t remember how long they were staying. We are on travel till Sat for hubbys work. Looking forward to next couple days, but admit I’m missing our girls.
