That is an interesting move among AA respondents. Really only the first time Trump showed ANY gain in support in Black support. Big move of roughly 10%. Curios thing is, wouldn’t the survey have occurred before he delivered the speech?

Of note, he has closed the gap in this poll to less than 1%!

The poll is published each day at midnight Pacific Time, so there was time for the speech to have had some effect. Not sure all respondents would have been exposed to the speech, but some could have been. Also note that the point on the chart is an average of the previous 7 days. The daily increase is greater than the average increase.

It looks like a significant move, given the stability of that metric over the past month. Compare with the Hispanic graph, which bounces around and showed a slight decrease yesterday.
