I remember my mom telling me 50 years ago that halal meat was better for you because of the way it was butchered. Has nothing to do with religion, everything to do with butchery method.
Over 70-75 years ago my MOTHER said it too, because it was supervised to the strictest cleanliness!

I think you will find that kosher laws requiring humane slaughter vs Islamic laws requiring imam prayer make a lot more sense. Humane has never been a Muslim strong point.

Halal meat was unheard of in the US 50 years ago.
You are probably confusing it with Kosher .
Kosher meat is really good and butchered very cleanly and only choice cuts of meat are labeled Kosher .
I don’t keep Kosher but I do love Kosher meat , especially the beef but I would rather eat nothing but beans and rice than eat any halal meat.
Halal is NOT the same and every time you buy Halal meat you support terrorism because for meat to be Halal the company has to PAY an IMAN money to do it and part of that money is automatically funneled to spread islam.
