Right now, we have gangs, BLM, New Black Panthers, Muslim neighborhood patrols. But, for most of America, there is little in the way of neighborhood or regional defense. The militia provided that in Colonial times; the government ruthlessly suppresses it today. A well-to-do person can hide behind a gated community, and a really rich one can afford personal bodyguards, but that’s not the same as a safe, self-defending community.
