A chaotic scene unfolded tonight after a police officer shot and killed an armed suspect in the north side of the city of Milwaukee. Police were in riot gear and as they left in their patrol cars, rioters smashed their windows and attacked the cars. A journalist was attacked too.
A standoff between police and an angry crowd turned violent Saturday night in the hours after a Milwaukee police officer shot and killed an armed suspect during a foot chase on the citys north side.
More than 100 people gathered near the scene at N. 44th St. and W. Auer Ave. and at times pushed against a line of 20 to 30 officers, some of whom were in riot gear.
At one point, the officers got in their cars to leave and some in the crowd started smashing the windows and side of a squad car that appeared to be demolished. Another vehicle was set on fire. As officers returned to the scene, this time many more in riot gear, three or four gunshots could be heard about 8:45 p.m.
Soon thereafter, the crowd turned on and attacked reporters and a photographer from the Journal Sentinel. One reporter was shoved to the ground and punched.

America’s most stupid elected a wanna-be 60’s radical, who has returned America to the razor’s edge of racial tension of the 60’s. Thanks obama.
If memory serves, one of the map biggies--I think it was Microsoft, but am not sure--built crime overlays into its map service. This seems like a welcome piece of information for people who are unfamiliar with a city, as in driving from the airport to the civilized suburbs.
As I recall, there was an outcry from "neighborhood groups" that they were being "redlined," and the information was dropped.
I only use Glock OEM Mags, though I have a few by SGM Tactical, as they proved themselves in the Glock torture test by Iraqveteran888 on Youtube.
“Until earlier this year, I used to carry a Kimber Ultra with 7 rounds for CCW.
...I recently upgraded to a Glock 19, and have bought several 33 round mags. I will always have at least 1 33 round mag in the car and possibly several.”
In my opinion, going from a Kimber to a Glock is hardly an “upgrade”. I realize the Glock is a very popular pistol, but it’s only real advantage is magazine capacity with the 9mm round. And I personally trust the big .45 round more than the 9mm. Perhaps because I’ve always had a thing about “plastic guns”, but I believe a Glock is an accidental discharge waiting to happen, as many have found out. A Kimber is a potential heirloom, a Glock an eventual throw-away.
High capacity magazines are fine for morale and bullet spraying, but VERY few armed altercations require more than the standard load of the Kimber. Nothing can take the place of skill in using your weapon, and the will to use that weapon. A shooter can have all the ammo he can carry, but one well-placed shot from an opponent can render than a moot point. Seven hits are worth more than seventy misses.
Just my Ozark hillbilly opinion...
Another police department for the DOJ to take over. Transforming America on schedule.
You may be on to something.
Time to clean the streets.
.45 ACP is little different than 9mm with modern ammo and ballistics. Modern defensive ammo has 50% expansion, so this means that a 9mm bullet (.355) actually will expand to .5325, LARGER than a non-expanding ,45 ACP. I want as much many stopping ammo I can carry on me without being unwieldy. 45 ACP simply limits how much one can carry and gives no substantial benefit over 9mm with modern ammo.
You said: “High capacity magazines are fine for morale and bullet spraying, but VERY few armed altercations require more than the standard load of the Kimber”
I suppose this is why the Secret Service uses the FN P90, which uses 50 rounds magazines.
“Sargon of Akkad” is a liberal British youtuber now family for his video “Social justice is a cult” and several similar exposes on how the SJW movement has people chanting “we have nothing to lose but our chains”, irrational demands for action and collective guilt assignment, and most evilly, the “social justice” K-5 classes segregating kids of color from whites where kids of color are validated and get cupcakes while the white kids get no snacks and told how bad they are for being white. I believe it because I’ve sat in employer diversity training that was essentially the same thing.
I doubt any Kimber or other 1911 could stand up to this torture, and I say that as a guy who loves 1911’s. 1911’s have their place, but for me more and more that place is at the range or in the gun safe.
Who you gonna call.
Police Dogs of course.

Ain’t freedom great? We are so ‘free’.
Actually, I’m a patriotic pragmatist who thinks that our modern culture is completely out of synch with some aspects of originalism. Without exteme education reform, there is no light at the end of the tunnel.

I realized after I posted it, that the blogger has pretty bad language. So sorry about that. But, for another video - here is the brother of the deceased.

“I guess things are pretty laid back over there in the Ozarks, with maybe the occasional ruffian that can be handled by a “well-placed shot”, but organized civil unrest particularly of the urban kind is a whole different matter. You’d do well to avoid it. “
I will take your advice.
I mentioned the Ozarks, the place of my youth, only to say I was never a stranger to guns and shooting. My father taught us at a very early age the value of the single shot, and the value of a good weapon.
I now live in Central America where “civil unrest” is a way of life, and always uncomfortably close. I try to take your advice every day.
The Devil loves chaos.
