A lone gunman killed a Queens imam and his assistant as the pair walked home from Saturday afternoon prayers, shooting each in the head from close range, cops and witnesses said.
Both victims were dressed in Muslim garb when targeted by the shooter, who fled the scene on foot and remained at large. Members of the mosque quickly denounced the double homicide as a hate crime.
“That’s not what America is about,” said local resident Khairul Islam, 33. “We blame Donald Trump for this ... Trump and his drama has created Islamophobia.”

I looked at a map of the area where it is reported to have happened, and it looks like a pretty crappy area... big storage facility takes up a full block... low lifes preying on each other and other easy prey. But anti American dementia requires blaming it on the white guy.

Guys this was going to happen.. Any act against any Muslim would be spun as Trumps fault. That’s just how it’s going to be. Hell given DNC behavior would surprise me if the set the whole thing up.. But this was going to happen. Won’t stop Trump but press will try
If this happened in “broad daylight”, why did no one see the shooter? So he was wearing a nifty polo shirt and some shorts. What was the color of his skin? It appears to me as though the New Yawk democrats want to let this simmer for a while in their “media” for a while and give the “media” turds time to blame it on Trump, the NRA, white people, the Boy Scouts, etc.
