Seating capacity is 2,062, but if they use the floor space, it would probably hold 3,000.

I think this state is ripe for a Trump victory in November. The Democrat governor (Malloy) was re-elected only by the skin of his teeth in 2014 and he’s more unpopular now than he was then. Many neighbors and people I speak to down here are openly for Trump and are fed up with politics as usual.

From your keyboard, Sam!!

Have a safe trip...both times :) Praying you all make it in and have a great time. Looking forward to your reports.

"I'm from Danbury/Bethel, HS in the early 1960s. It is a traumatic experience to pass through "home" and see the decimation that's happened to what was once a wonderful place to grow up in!"

I worked their in the 80's and 90's. CT is a shell of it's former self. I hear the whole former Combustion Engineering Campus is literally gone and re-purposed. Before that company was bought and resold a billion times it was on the NYSE. Dang shame, some of the greatest design and engineering talent in the Country IMHO, were in CT to name some of the firms; Pratt, Hamilton Std, Kaman, Sikorsky, Combustion Engineering, and lets not forget on the cutting edge Gerber Scientific. Some are still their, downsized, right sized, bla-bla-bla, but it ain't the same....

I can believe(almost) you made that breakfast BUT CANNOT believe you have those sheets on your bed!

However you did not say it was your bed (wink)

A lovely idea dedicating this thread to Gage /WVKayaker and another great idea that this be his tribute page. He would love the idea of a Trump Train Family Rally Thread being his memorial

I “met” him years ago before his move to the Phillapines. I messaged him n we chatted at length re: kayaking - one of my avocations.

His illness and death came much to swiftly and reminds us all we cannot necessarily count on tomorrow.

I’m off to work shortly. Will find a place for wifi later to chat here n stream rally

One of my associates is a former C-E employee. He got out of there when the rumors started spreading about yet another sale (ABB to GE). The Windsor Locks offices are closed down. The small portion of business that was Westinghouse-related went to PA (Churchill). Other employees scattered to the few C-E plants still running (e.g., Palo Verde and a few more). Everything else was sold out. Welcome to globalization. President Hillary loves it.:-(

“I often wonder if he’d still be with us if able to travel to the U.S. “

I wonder about that too.

nikos, you probably recognized what he had and if it would be treatable here?

at one time I looked into moving to Panama, but decided it was better to fight it out here.

I’m parked near the site now at a local mall in Trumbull. Drove around the venue a couple time to get a feel of the place. Not much going on now but temporary police “no parking” signs are all around the local streets. I assume the police will be out in force later directing people to parking lots.

Doors open at 4:30 so I plan to be back around 3pm. Only 9.8 miles from my house and easy back roads the whole way. Trump really had my convenience in mind when he planned this.

Thank you Donald!

Please get protester counts - and what times you counted them.
Types of signs they sporting, types of yelling.
Pictures!

Please be safe, Bridgeport is a stones throw away, literally.

(for the heat, bring a ‘throw away umbrella’ for standing in line for shade...’throw-away’ mist bottle of water to help cool down)
