We're electing a Truman Democrat, and I say that with the clear stipulation that Truman Democrats would never be a part of today's Democrat Party. In 2016, "Truman Democrat" is as conservative as is electable, which is what William F. Buckley told us to do.

How repugnant is the idea of the opposition @ 98% is ‘better’ than the opposition @ 99%, while willfully blinding oneself to other option(s) at, say, 75% or less? Except ‘those guys’ believe in X, which *my Party* only pays lip service to X, so I’ll stick w/ ‘em....JUST in case they decide to *DO*, for once. Bring ‘em up to 95%.
