Appearing on Fox News Thursday, Breitbart News National Security Editor Dr. Sebastian Gorka, author of Defeating Jihad: The Winnable War, addressed Donald Trump’s comments that President Obama is the “founder of ISIS,” and the response from Democrats.
“I’m not his spokesman, I’m not part of his campaign, so let him talk for himself,” Gorka said of Trump. “But if he means that the Obama Administration and Hillary Clinton facilitated the growth of ISIS into the most powerful jihadi insurgency the world has ever seen, he is absolutely right.”
“Let’s just look at the facts,” he continued. “In 2008, when this Senator from Illinois became the President, and afterwards appointed Hillary as his Secretary of State, at that moment in time, ISIS didn’t exist. Al Qaeda in Iraq, the forerunner of ISIS, was one regional franchise inside Iraq. When we withdrew our troops – when we started to cook the books on intelligence, as you hear from the CENTCOM analysts – then we facilitated the rise of ISIS. With these false red lines in Syria that meant nothing, all the things were put in place by this Administration to help this former al Qaeda franchise become a trans-regional insurgency with more than 80,000 fighters today. That’s facts.”

Gorka came back to the falsified CENTCOM intelligence that Obama used to mislead the American people about progress in the war on ISIS, calling it “outrageous.”

No, no, no. This is Bush’s fault for invading Iraq when Saddam never, ever, ever had weapons of mass destruction and killed billions of Iraqi civilians. “Founder” is exaggeration. bammy and hillary allowed Islamic State to grow. I follow the news. I saw IS begin and expand by killing. I saw that bammy and hillary did absolutely nothing about them for a long time.

Trump should not have backed down on this.
I never heard of ISIS before Hillary and Obama showed up.
Libya lit the fuse and Obama failed to do anything about the ISIS threat when they were organizing and marching through the Desert into Syria and then Iraq.
Do not forget that McCain, Rubio, and Graham were helping Obama and Clinton arm Syrian rebels who then became ISIS.
Don’t forget Bengazzi and all the secret arms shipments to Syria. All the “accidental” arms drops to ISIS. I would expect every single terrorist over there has an American made Glock 19 Gen 4 and American 9mm.
Don’t forget divisions worth of US armor driven up to ISIS positions and abandoned.
Don’t forget years of dropping warning leaflets on Targets hours before bomb drops.

Trump was MOCKING Obama - rightly so, he deserves it. The single biggest thing I can’t stand him for is walking away from Iraq. The waste of lives and money, along with wasting the efforts of the wounded (all forms).
He was a “passive” founder, even if he wasn’t an “active” one....still deserves the label.

Trump was absolutely right on this point. The worst you can say is that he may have phrased it sloppily.
Weapons of mass destruction.... who remembers seeing the pictures of planes, ammunition and other things that were buried in the desert in Iraq? Who remembers seeing footage of the caravan going to Jordan or Syria with some of the WMDs and Saddam’s daughters and sons-in-law?
My what short, selective memories people have.
