It’s called the joint enterprise principle. If you are a party to a crime, and the crime results in a murder, you are liable for the *results* of *your* criminal act.

The Judge asked if anyone had any questions, so I asked about “what if it is a bus full of Nuns and the bus driver robs a 7-11?

Stupid, sophomoric argument. First, the prosecutor wouldn't bring charges, second, the grand jury wouldn't indict. Finally, the jury wouldn't convict. On top of it all, any prosecutor that did bring charges would be made to look like a flaming moron in every election for the rest of his life.
