Despite their best efforts, the Cowboys' helmets will not feature a decal supporting Dallas police officers this season.
According to Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News, the NFL denied the team's request for permission to include a decal reading "Arm In Arm" on their lids for the upcoming season. That decal, which the team has been wearing on its helmets during training camp, is in support of Dallas Police and the officers killed in July's sniper attack.

The NFL seemed to be okay with honoring the victims in Paris last season: http://www.si.com/nfl/2015/11/15/nfl-players-allowed-tributes-paris-victims

Season starts Saturday.

Well, if the”arm in arm” decal doesn’t fly, they should put a big blue star on their helmets and say it is in honor of the Dallas police officers.

Just do it anyway. Support for the police, a fundamental institution, is obviously neccessary, no matter what some pajama boy in NYC says.
You just won the interwebs today. Awesome idea.
They be working real hard to turn the NFL into NASCAR,, almost there:-)
Season starts Saturday.
Same here dfwg. It can be entertaining. I've got to brush up on the rules more though.
At least there is one other person besides me.
The Spurs had some really good players. Still can’t figure out why Kane was not used more during Euro16.
