I am convinced Romney is still behind much of this & driving the anti-Trump derangement syndrome.
His fingerprints are all over it.
I think he’s got a personal vendetta against Trump. It’s really not about ideology. He’s just mad at Trump for embarrassing him. They all are.
Anyone who let Romney lose (advisers, senior officials, etc), is guilty of letting victory slip through their fingers.

Romney, et al., are not “mad at Trump”; they’re jealous, pure and simple.
Start out with Christie. Romney was leading in the polls until the storm. Christie INVITED Obummer there (probably for TV exposure). He did not want Romney to win in 2012, because he wanted to run ,himself, in 2016. I will never forget his a$$ kissing and telling him what a wonderful President he was and how wonderful he was handling the storm (Obama had just stepped off his plan and had done nothing.
Christie cowtowed to Trump hoping to get the VP slot. Where is he now??? obviously not helping Trump.
