A new candidate has tossed his hat in the ring for president.
MSNBCs Joe Scarborough has the details

The candidate revealed by sources has an impressive resume and the backing of key $$ contributors in the Republican Party.

Multiple sources tell me the candidate is Evan McMullin. Wharton grad, CIA alum, Goldman Sachs, Republican Policy Director, US House

Who is Evan McMullin?
From Independent Journal Review:
1) Evan McMullin, who is 40 years old, had a minimal public profile before announcing
McMullin had just 135 Twitter followers when the story broke, according to BuzzFeed News. That number has grown quickly, but pales in comparison to Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, who have 10.7 million and 8.2 million, respectively.
2) Evan McMullin has a Bachelor of Arts degree and an MBA
His LinkedIn page lists him as graduating from Brigham Young University in 2001, and attaining an MBA from the Wharton School of Business in 2011. Donald Trump also attended Wharton, while Hillary Clinton has a law degree from Yale.
3) Evan McMullin was in the CIA
McMullins LinkedIn page lists him as spending 11 years in the service:
Managed clandestine operations related to counterterrorism, counterinsurgency, energy, political stability, and counterintelligence, while serving mostly in hostile environments.
McMullin worked for Goldman Sachs in the past, and also as a staffer for Congress.
He defended the Khan family unlike Republican candidate Donald Trump.
Why is McMullin doing this?
He has less of a chance to win than Green party candidate Jill Stein.
Not even conservative Ted Cruz stands a chance at this point in the race. Its Trumps to lose.
H/T: Twitchy
Winning is unrelated to his motivation.
Is this character going to try to get the Utah Mormon vote? He’s a Mormon. Crossed my mind.
The American Independent and Constitutional parties already exist and are “Conservative”.
And according to Scarborough, some big money people are behind this. For what? How is money going to make up for their essential impotence here? And what’s in it for McMullin? A interesting tidbit for his resume? These nobodies who run without any prayer whatsoever of winning, or even getting any kind of significant vote, remind me of the Denzil Washington character, Pvt. Trip, in the movie “Glory.” One of the other soldiers asks him what he had been doing since he escaped the plantation. He says, “I’ve been running for President of the United States.” The other soldier gives a confused look. Trip says, “I didn’t win, though.” The difference between Trip and McMullin is that Trip knows it’s a joke.
I thought the #nevertrumpers were deranged, but now they’ve really gone off the deep end. This is so absurd, it’s hilarious.
McMuffin=Conservative?? I’ve never heard of the tool, but reading his resume, he sounds like a globalists’ wet dream. Establishment to the very core.
And, naturally, he’s a Mormon, which means that Mitten’s grubby hands are all over this.
I looked up the corruption issue. That appears to be untrue. The license was suspended in 2002 due to failure to do the Continuing Legal Education (CLE), which is required by most, if not all jurisdictions these days for active attorneys.
I have a license, but no longer practice law (changed careers, moved from licensing state). I am ‘inactive’ and pay a small fee each year to keep my status as a lawyer. I don’t have to do CLE.
Assuming they have the same option in Arkansas, I think it would have been very easy for Hillary to do the same thing. What politician wouldn’t want to keep some indication of their ability to practice or having at least passed the bar?
Doesn’t make any sense to me, but nothing Hillary does makes sense to me.
True. Look further and don’t rely on “Snopes”...Lib Shills.
