Whatever happened to those "push-in" cigarette lighters? I used to play with them when I was a boy riding in my father's car. I'd push it in and then wait for the end to get all red with fire. I liked the burnt smoke smell when you pulled it out. You could light a piece of paper on fire with it. I used to like to light a piece of paper on fire and then blow it out before it got too big. My father did not like that. Now there is just a hole where the cigarette lighter used to be and people shove their cell phone chargers in there.

You can still get it. It's called the "Smoker's Package" and it'll cost ya anywhere from $35 to $70, depending on the make and model. What you get it the little lighter, and an ashtray designed to fit into one of your cup-holders. Here's one for a BMW: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-bmw-parts/smoker-package/51952186233/?utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Srch.US.ProductAds(BSC)&utm_term=1100910268440&utm_content=All%20Products

Only $65.07 with free shipping.

I'll sell ya a bic and an aluminum can cut in half for only $19.95...

That is a great item for preppers to start a fire :). I loved pushing them in and waiting...by the time it popped out, you had time to figure out if you wanted that cigarette or not. Now it's just a bic lighter and an ashtray in one of the cup holders. Instant gratification.
