As far as ABC’s Cokie Roberts is concerned, Donald Trump attacking Hillary Clinton as “unhinged” is basically a gendered attack.
Trump has recently taken to calling Clinton “unhinged” and “unbalanced,” implying she’s “not all there.”
On ABC’s This Week this morning, Sara Fagen said that’s not the issue people have with Clinton, so that won’t be a particularly helpful line of attack.
Then Roberts said, “‘Unhinged’ and ‘she doesn’t look presidential’ is totally code for ‘we shouldn’t elect a woman.’ That’s exactly what that is.”

What did Cokie have to say about all the attacks against Palin in 2008. “unhinged” “unbalanced” and “not all there” are compliments compared to what was thrown at Palin 24/7 in 2008, and even all the way up to 2012, and even now when she ventures out. But, I’m assuming Cokie was OK with all that, because it helped get 0bama across the finish-line.
