A dark horse who appeared out of the Wisconsin woodwork, businessman Paul Nehlen, was reportedly neck-and-neck with House Speaker Paul Ryan (shown) in the primary polls taken in early July. Pundits pooh-poohed those polls as being unreliable, but Ryan has since adjusted his primary campaign strategy to keep the public from asking him unscripted questions, queries that Nehlen keeps raising. Ryan doesnt want to become another Eric Cantor, the former House Majority Leader who lost to a nobody in 2014.
Nehlen suddenly became a national figure and symbol of the countrys populist uprising on Tuesday when Donald Trump turned Ryans words into a quasi-endorsement of Nehlen. Back in May, when asked if he was ready to endorse Donald Trump for the presidency, Ryan waffled: Im just not ready to do that at this point. Im not there right now. Trump trumpeted his response immediately

‘I think you may have missed the point here. Zero has set the precedent. Trump does not need Congress. They have made themselves irrelevant.’
The way I look at it -
Zero’s illegal acts, such as usurping the presidency, by-passing congress all the time, ignoring court’s ruling, do not ‘precedent’ make. Rather they are reminders of what NOT to do for all subsequent presidents.
President Trump will need a co-operative Congress to get things done.
For Trump to be elected the president, he needs all the help he can get - even the good old network boys at DC.
It’d be wise of him to act strategically towards the ultimate goal - get to the oval office, then work within the constitutional limits to put the country back onto the right path.
Maybe, but Ryan has also talked big against Obama for a long time now, yet he’s always gone along with what Obama wants. There’s no reason to think Ryan will change course now.
If he does as you suggest he will,IMHO, be essentially a George Bush. He can not nor can we allow him to be confined to the restraints of the office and allow our internal enemies to remain unrebuked. We are at war. We can not afford another leader who allows our enemies to survive.
Hopefully they will toss him out of leadership if Trump wins.
Our next leader will be a tyrant>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
We have a tyrant now:

Based on exactly WHAT?
Where did you get your info? Did it come in a vision?
Tom Foley lost a general in 1994...but a primary? That’s a good one. I don’t recall that ever.
Primaries have only been around for about 100 years. No speaker has ever been successfully primaried to my knowledge.
Regardless of the outcome, Nehlen has won yuuuugely. Ryan wins at best a pyrrhic victory. His fellow gop-e twits can see how much he’s spending in time and resources just to keep his seat.
This is from a conservative source, brietbart.com:
JANESVILLE, Wisconsin House Speaker Paul Ryan should coast to reelection here despite a scare from Republican businessman Paul Nehlen, a new poll shows.
The Remington Research Group survey conducted on Aug. 3 found that Ryan leads Nehlen 80 percent to 14 percent. A minimal six percent say they are undecided. The survey was of 1,157 likely primary voters and has a margin of error of three points.

Trump has a great many conservative stances, and he knows how to put people to work.
We really didn’t have that combination with any other GOP candidates, this season.
No! He is extremely smart.
We have to trust him.
——Trump supporters should oust Ryan from the speakership in the house.——
Like before the election?
What Trump supporters in Congress are you talking about...?
Do you think there are enough Congressman who support Trump to oust Ryan?
You might want to educate yourself on how that process works....getting to be Speaker of the House....
You are forgetting that Ryan and Boehner and their ilk have actually fought Zero less than they would Trump. Trump wants to shake things up, and that is the last thing a majority of Congress wants to see happen. If Trump tries to go around Congress, it will suddenly be a Constitutional crisis where they just let Zero get away with it.
According to the polls Ted Cruz won the Iowa caucuses, too.
4) Trump congratulated Nehlen, and Nehlen was appreciative, and never expected Trump’s endorsement. If Nehlen wins, he will be a staunch Trump proponent.
I think folks might make up their own minds. I pray that Wisconsin gives Paul Ryan the boot.
