I was thinking the SAME thing. They’re thankful this is the last time they will subjected to this punishment.
The average tourist on MV probably hates having them there. Traffic is impossible even without the president staying there.
OTOH if you own an inn or a bread and breakfast you grin, bear it, and pocket the money. Thank of all the secret service and others who accompany the president. They all have to sleep somewhere and it costs hundred of dollars a night. Our tax dollars!
