Vero Beach, FL - (TRUNEWS) U.S. Senator John McCain recorded a Tokyo Rose-style propaganda message that was broadcast on North Vietnamese radio in 1969.
TRUNEWS, a nonprofit Christian digital news app, obtained the bombshell audio recording and released it today on the organizations daily newscast hosted by Rick Wiles. TRUNEWS acquired the audio recording in cooperation with WeSearchR.com, a new media company founded by Charles Johnson.
The 1969 North Vietnamese radio broadcast has never been heard in the United States of America. In fact, there has never been any knowledge that such a recording existed. The audio recording was found in a misplaced file in the National Archives in Washington, D.C. The broadcast was recorded by the Foreign Broadcast Information Service, a branch of the CIA that monitored international shortwave and foreign radio broadcasts.
Lt. Commander John McCain was shot down over Hanoi by a North Vietnamese missile while flying his 23rd bombing mission. Both of his arms and one leg were broken. He was pulled ashore by North Vietnamese who took him to a prison known by POWs as the Hanoi Hilton.
McCain was a prisoner of war for five and a half years. He was released on March 14, 1973, and returned to the United States of America as a war hero. His POW legacy propelled McCain to victory in a race for a U.S. Congressional seat in Arizona in 1982. He replaced Barry Goldwater in the Senate in 1986.
In the propaganda recording, Lt. Commander McCain said he was guilty of crimes against the Vietnamese country and people. He confessed that he bombed their cities, towns, and villages and caused many injuries, even deaths, for the people of Vietnam.
He praised the medical care and kindness of his communist captors even though he came to North Vietnam as an aggressor. McCain said he wished to express his deep gratitude for their kind treatment and that he will never forget the kindness extended to him by the communist North Vietnamese.
Senator McCain is running for a sixth six-year term in the Senate. He is facing a strong primary challenge from former State Senator Dr. Kelli Ward, a physician in Lake Havasu.
The Arizona Republican Primary is August 30. Sen. McCain will turn age 80 on the day before the primary.
Here is the actual script of John McCains 1969 Tokyo Rose propaganda broadcast on North Vietnamese radio.
To the Vietnamese people and the government of the DRVN:
From John Sidney McCain, 624787, Lieutenant Commander, U.S. Navy, born 29 August, 1936, Panama, home state Oregon. Shot down 26 October, 1967, A-4E aircraft.
I, as a U.S. airman, am guilty of crimes against the Vietnamese country and people. I bombed their cities, towns and villages and caused many injuries, even deaths, for the people of Vietnam.
I was captured in the capital city of Hanoi, while attacking it. After I was captured, I was taken to the hospital in Hanoi, where I received very good medical treatment. I was given an operation on my leg, which allowed me to walk again, and a cast on my right arm, which was badly broken in three places.
The doctors were very good and they knew a great deal about the practice of medicine. I remained in the hospital for some time and regained much of my health and strength. Since I arrived in the camp of detention, I received humane and lenient treatment.
I received this kind treatment and food even though I came here as an aggressor and the people who I injured have much difficulty in their living standards. I wish to express my deep gratitude for my kind treatment and I will never forget this kindness extended to me.

I don’t believe Trump will scorn Juan for his Tokyo Rose speech as he was never in the military.
As veterans you, I and others here can debate the act of doing what pleases the enemy.
I understand.
But where did he get his info?
What sources?
A fitting tribute to a true American hero: www.LanceSijanMoH.com
“He still had a sidearm”.
You need to do slightly more research: he landed in a shallow lake in the middle of the city with one arm broken and both shoulders dislocated. Just a tad difficult, tactically.
I take it that you’ve never been shot at while you’re out in the water. I have and it isn’t fun.
.
His story is one that makes any American swell with pride.
Inspiring young man.
A tragedy that he was lost.
His story should be required reading for all the snowflakes out there.
I challenge any American to read this and not get misty-eyed:

You may recall about 6 - 8 months before the 08 election McCain went on a "Trade Mission" to Vietnam, while this occurred after Hack's death, my sources suggested that in fact McCain was there to cut a deal to keep incriminating evidence of collaboration sealed that would damage his image during the election.
Not all.
Adm Stockdale, for one. There are many others.
Hackworth was interesting and did some good early on, but like Ted Baxter on Fox, he went all in on his own hype and wandered into la-la land.
Look, we know McCain is an idiot but he was a terribly injured and tortured POW.
Separate the two.
I’m no fan of John McCain but this is a new low. Especially for FR.
Please ask the mods to delete this post.
Unfortunately Adm Stockdale who was a true hero, died a few years before the election. That said, I doubt a man of his great courage, resolve and dedication would say anything good about McCain.
Hack was well connected, respected and had good sources. I'll take Hack's version of events as truth, which are that McCain is a traitor & collaborator
His subsequent voting record in the Senate confirms this.
I am a Viet vet. I was taught to resist, to delay, to confuse, to obfuscate, and, if need be, to die, giving them NOTHING!!
The POW’s at the Hanoi Hilton became political bargaining chips. The North Vietnamese, under the direction of the Chinese, since neither had ever signed The Geneva Convention (of course only held to the Western World), there were no limits to what those guys had heaped on them, but they did break the UCMJ.
There are those that were in there with John McCain that will have nothing to do with him, and I can see why. John McCain, the admiral’s son, got himself shot down, and became a ‘pet’ of the North Vietnamese.
By the way, it is NOT ‘VN’, it is one word, ‘Vietnam’. ‘VN’ is a Naval classification.
Stockdale did defend McCain for his time as a POW.
He dis not support McCain the politician.
Hackworth was a has-been by the time be passed.
Refer to my previous posts if you wish to continue as all has been said.
I’ve been shot at while crawling through mud at midnight.
“So yet again Trump is correct, “
That’s the key point.
Not saying I would have been any better than Juan McCain, but I hope I would.
That said I’m not one of 100 people who can set treaty conditions for an entire nation of 300 million people.
Boot McCain. Remove him, but only after some reporter with balls/tits asks him about the 20 million dollar Saudi contribution to his family foundation.
Change your handle.
Your selected nom de plume shows ‘Liberty’, but your attempt at censorship has nothing to do with Liberty.
POW is no reason to elect a Communist to Congress.
McCain is, was, always will be a LOSER.
No apologies.
So according to you, all the POWs that broke are all weaklings. It is clear your statement makes clear you feel all POWs that broke are dishonorable and worthy of scorn. That is the message you are sending.
Previous posts explain the Code and why the Code was adjusted because most all POWs broke and those that did break believed they violated the code and would be prosecuted and that added untold stress to their captivity.
When attending SERE had the honor of meeting a couple of former VN POWs, and they were very helpful in understanding the psychology of captivity and torture, and the effects of being broken (yes, they broke).
The American military understood the POW experience in NVN was not Hogan’s Heroes by any measure and they understood you can be broken and you should resist to the utmost of your ability, but not to the point of death. That was the “escape clause.”
Notwithstanding your position, as long as you gave all you had to resist, you would “return with honor.”
Being broken is not collaboration.
You are letting your McCain hatred cloud your judgement and causes you to smear the honor and courage of all POWs that broke, not only during the VN war, but those in the Gulf War. . .they were tortured, too.
It’s all been said and nothing new is to be said. See my previous posts as they have answers/replies to any further posts you may have.
Certainly, you must agree that further exchanges would only be to engage in a flame war/insult fest, and that is for juveniles and children, not adults.
Cheers
