I think we have been shafted again.

Looks like Trump has done a 180 and is now main stream republican.

I and my wife will vote for him but that's it, no more money, no more work, no more anything but one vote each on November 8, 2016.

I am still not voting for Bruce Poliquin!

I feel bad for Paul Nehlen, he worked his butt off for Trump. And so did Dr. Kelli Ward in Arizona in trying to unseat McCain.

This is not a Trump 180, this is a big FU to those guys and the whole media story. Ryan and McCain particularly are slimebag hypocrites and all of this endorsement stuff makes them look like the garbage that they are. This move by Trump is just a BTTT to keep making them look like jerks.

Interesting gesture. Doesn’t mean the idiot will win his district. Furthermore, the idiot has no political justification to fight Trump’s election.

If Trump wants to be in charge he needs to be ruthless. That wasn’t ruthless and will emboldened asshats like Ryan.

Party politics is a complicated thing. Political parties are coalitions to win elections. That’s all. Trump needed to do this, even though EVERYONE knows what it is. It’s not going to change anything in these elections. Let’s see if the Party holds up their end.

He just lost any enthusiasm I had for his candidacy. What a sellout to try to squelch the primaries. I hope the voters of Arizona and Wisconsin do the right thing. Business as usual in this country will mean goodbye to America and hello “world.”

neah, I think Trump was just threatening them that they better not go all open borders on him when he gets to office.

He’d better be careful tho, that if Paul Ryan wins his primary, that Ryan doesn’t turn around an unendorse him as gratitude.

Is Lyin’ Ted going to endorse the primary challengers?

McCain, Ayotte & Paul Ryan have engaged in protracted toothless attacks on Trump.

These 3 have at least done procedural things about things Cruz has done in congress. Where is Lyin’ Ted.

Trump is wrong for endorsing them but if any of the 3 lose, Trump can say:”Not my fault, i couldnt help these losers”.

He’s just trying to smooth things out temporarily. He would love to be free of Ryan, McCain, and Ayotte. They are rino globalists and he’ll have to fight them tooth and nail to get his proposed policies through.

From brietbart.com
Poll: Paul Ryan Leading Challenger Paul Nehlen 80 to 14
JANESVILLE, Wisconsin — House Speaker Paul Ryan should coast to reelection here despite a scare from Republican businessman Paul Nehlen, a new poll shows.
The Remington Research Group survey conducted on Aug. 3 found that Ryan leads Nehlen 80 percent to 14 percent. A minimal six percent say they are undecided. The survey was of 1,157 likely primary voters and has a margin of error of three points.

I’d be pretty damn happy to have Poliquin as my Congressman, though he has been disappointing in typical New England fashion. He’s a helluva a lot better than your last 2 Congressman.

I was extremely critical of Trump’s first primary endorsement of RINO Renee Elmers, which was just bizarre and thankfully didn’t help her. Only thing I can think is is that her BF the Majority Leader asked Trump to support her.

But I have to agree with 2 of these 3 (not McCain). Shoot me in the face for being GOPE scum if you like but I’m a pragmatist.

First off, Ayotte’s primary opposition is a joke, it’s capable neither of beating her nor the communist democrap Hassan, whom must be allowed to be elected, therefore there is no reason not to endorse her. She 100% will be the GOP nominee and Trump says himself, he can’t have GD Chuck Scummer running the Senate. No brainer!

I doubt this guy running against Ryan is competitive either despite FR wishing. New poll gives Ryan a gigantic lead. In any case this guy Nehlen’s campaign seems to based on 3 things, support for protectionism, which I and most other conservatives are against, the claim that the result of this one primary can “end amnesty” which is simply not true and therefore silly to claim, and the notion that he’s a stronger supporter of Trump than Ryan, which is silly and irrelevant.

Let’s not pretend a new Speaker would solve anything either, it didn’t the last time, just as I said it wouldn’t, it’ll just be another ugly election with another guy you’ll hate winning.

Ryan is backing Trump, it would look really bad if Trump didn’t reciprocate. Necessary endorsement for Trump.
Unity goes both ways, you can’t expect people to support Trump if he doesn’t support them. I realize most or even ALL of you will support Nehlen anyway but he never lit my fire.

I think McCain’s challenger, Kelli Ward, can beat him and would still be more likely than not to beat the democrat. And I think McCain being staked in the heart would be a good thing cause he sucks a lot longer and harder than Paul Ryan. So I can’t agree with this one. But it’s certainly very understandable. I would not be too upset over this. Two-way street again. That’s politics. I hope McCain loses to Ward but if he wins I hope he beats the Stalinist democrat partial birth abortion loving witch.

This kinda show of unity makes me more optimistic vis a vis winning the election.

The primaries are over. The contest is now Republican — Democrat, not Republican — RINO.

The need for Republican unity trumps your aspiration to purity. The goal must be the White House and both Houses of Congress! Many of them will be wobbly, but that's still better than the alternative!

And the down-ticket is very important, second only to the top of the ticket. A President Trump is worthless if he can't get anything through Congress.

Of course, in the case of Ryan, things could change on Tuesday. But don't hold your breath.
