Paul Ryan is traitorous, lying scum. If his district can’t see it by now then some polite chin-flapping by Trump will not make any difference. When elected, Trump will have to deal with countless filled-to-the-brim, Ryan-like porta potties that have been baking in the political sun too long.

The next step would be for Ryan and Cruz to endorse Trump.

In the ideal political world I agree, but Trump said after the convention that he doesn't care to have Cruz's endorsement. In fact he went on further to say that he would reject his endorsement were Cruz to offer it. He held a press conference to say so. This was not a helpful position for him to take in my opinion.

None of these 3 GOPe members endorsed Trump in the primary, yet Trump is endorsing them in their races next week. Why endorse them?

Shouldn't Trump be doing something to rally and inspire the folks who sent 25% of delegates to the RNC convention?

For instance, where Hillary is said to have 600 operatives in PA to Trump's 60, wouldn't Trump benefit from a newly inspired, Cruz ground organization, which in the primary showed itself to be demonstrably effective to the tune of amassing 559 delegates? Cruz raised over $120MM dollars - don't you suppose that could go a long way to hiring operatives of our own in key battleground states?

If Trump made an effort to patch up things with Cruz, he'd do himself a favor, and I strongly believe he'd receive Cruz' endorsement. I believe Trump did not try to patch it up with Cruz before the convention and that is why Cruz, while extending congratulations to Trump for his victory --- the sportsman-like thing to do ---, he provided no direct endorsement at the convention.

Like you, I think Trump benefits by having Cruz's endorsement.

If Trump did decide to mend fences, I think it would go a long way to re-uniting us all on this board, and getting (R) efforts at all levels better focused on fighting the real enemy -- Hillary.

FReegards!

Trump doesn’t “grovel” and isn’t groveling. Yes, Ryan is a POS, and personally, I hope he loses next week, but, I can’t vote or not vote for him, and neither can Trump. It’s up to his district to decide that. Here’s a scenario you need to consider. If Trump didn’t support Ryan and he loses, then Ray could go full bore on TPP during the lame duck session. However, if he loses even with Trump’s support, Trump won’t get the blame, and it might soften the blow to Ryan’s agenda. I don’t know, but, am speculating. Trust me, Trump didn’t sell out - he got something out of this deal and I’m sick of this subject. We have a WH to win and a Clinton machine to take down. IF Ryan now stabs him in the back - he will look like an even bigger traitor than he already is. It’s a win/win for Trump.

Is Lyin’ Ted going to endorse the primary challengers?

McCain, Ayotte & Paul Ryan have engaged in protracted toothless attacks on Trump.

These 3 have at least done procedural things about things Cruz has done in congress. Where is Lyin’ Ted.

Trump is wrong for endorsing them but if any of the 3 lose, Trump can say:”Not my fault, i couldnt help these losers”.

He’s just trying to smooth things out temporarily. He would love to be free of Ryan, McCain, and Ayotte. They are rino globalists and he’ll have to fight them tooth and nail to get his proposed policies through.

These 3 challengers need all the publicity they can get.

Trump should attack on Monday & endorse on Friday every other group of challengers & primaries.

I did not like the kissing up to the GOPe from Cruz back in March and April and Cruz’s consorting with them.

I certainly do not like Trump’s doing the same thing tonight.

I will vote Trump again like I did in the PA Primary but not for my GOPe congressman and other GOP candidates but remain strongly convinced it will take more than politics and something better than violence to change things in this country.

What I can do for now is to work to change the one person I can change, myself.

God Bless All and God Bless America........

This is such a brilliant political move. Trump reaches out to unite the party!! This makes these rinos look. Horrible if they don’t reciprocate!! Trump is so much larger than these petty hold outs.listen folks this is a battle against satanism, herself.we are uniting and they are losing millions to the druggie libertarians and the green commies. It is true.

I’m not surprised Trump’s endorsements came on a Friday night under cover of the Olympic opening ceremonies and other weekend activities.

That’s the way the game is played in big time politics with damaging things let out on Friday nights.

The Clinton’s did a lot of that and other politicians do the same thing.

I am certainly not pleased with what he did but who knows what’s next.

I am not backing out on Trump, but the folks like Ryan and McCain should lose and not return to Washington.

He conceded that a TPP vote is impossible this year. That’s one of the things Trump got out of the deal. Don’t know what else. Perhaps some tepid platitudes and promises to not interfere.
