I think he’s also playing to the crowd...which is smaller and more contained than a stadium.
Stand out like sore thumbs.
I love your Priest!!
He’s doing great.
They now owe him. He's up and now they must play defense. He's upped them.
LOL!!
He had two options at this stage.
Option #1: Party “unity” with fellow Republicans, a mix of Globalists and Nationalists, Elitists and Patriots.
Option #2: Ideological “unity” with Nationalist, Patriots, Anti-Establishment.
He chose Option #1. We can only wonder why.
I suspect he sized up his chances of winning with each option, and came to the conclusion that Option #1 was the stronger option needed to WIN.
He may be right, time will tell if he chose the correct option. I don’t like it at all, but with DJT, I’ve learned to stand back and watch his strategic chess moves before passing judgement.
Well stated. I trust him.

Somehow I don't see the Trump endorsement of Paul Ryan on the Breitbart homepage. Did I miss it? pic.twitter.com/sdCmfuzQe2— Ben Jacobs (@Bencjacobs) August 6, 2016
Agree. And if Ryan is leading by 70%, no harm no foul in endorsing him since that’s who he needs to work with in the future.
After 8 years of Obama interacting with congress, you’d think that the worriers on this forum would understand that Trump will be able to pressure these congressional pansies in ways he can’t do now.
Hee hee!
Done!
Poor Mr. Nehlen.
He won't get credit for "modifying his tone" and he's ticking off people like me, who knows what they're talking about. And you know what a staunch supporter I have been since he threw his hat into the ring.
And WHEN have my posts EVER been "wrong" about Trump ?
This crowd is very engaged.
Believe me, Trump will be getting something in return. Bet they had to promise to keep their traps shut and stop criticizing him publicly all the time.
Oh I hope they lose.
Me too. Change is uncomfortable, even when its for the best, and we don;t know for sure that this is even for the better. It's uncomfortable right now, because we don't know where it's all going; and because Ryan and McCain got something valuable (they didn't) for nothing (that part is true).
Otherwise, he is doing a very good, "presidential tone" delivery of his policy positions, as well as objections to Hillary - an hour's worth, more in one rally than Hillary gives in three. And the crowd is energized. This part has a "genuine" feel.
