This is what a full-fledged feeding frenzy looks like.
With Donald Trump facing the roughest stretch of his candidacy, the media have moved from questioning his sanity to depicting a campaign in disarray and top Republicans still wondering whether they can dump the nominee.
That won’t happen, of course, but it’s an indication of the toxic nature of the coverage and the flood of anti-Trump leaks now washing across the media landscape.
There’s a natural piling-on effect when campaigns go off the rails: The polls dip, the critics step up their rhetoric, staffers start pointing fingers, and the press keeps the vicious cycle going.
But I’ve never seen anything like this.
Things reached the point yesterday morning that CNBC’s John Harwood tweeted: “Longtime ally of Paul Manafort, Trump's campaign manager: 'Manafort not challenging Trump anymore. Mailing it in. Staff suicidal.'"

Have you seen the polling today? In Ipsos/Reuters, Trump is only down by 4 and in a 4-way race in Florida, Trump is only down 4. He's down right now - but certainly not out.
The smug media have been predicting Trumps’s demise for a year now. There is a whiff of desperation on their part. Trump will clean Hillary’s clock, and they know it.
Trump has been imploding. He's fighting everyone but Hillary, including people whose support he needs and was going to get. He's picking stupid fights. Trump needs to get his head out of his @$$ soon, start fighting Hillary instead of everyone but and raise money and get on the air.
I don't believe any of that. We now know in the past the establishment in both parties conspired, along with the media deceptions/manipulations, to get the desired election results to go along with their manipulated polls.
You can give in to their deceptions and manipulations to the point it gives them the desired results but I refuse to. This whole Trump is imploding is exactly what I described in order to get the results they want. The answer is to quit giving them so much power over you. We just need to continue to stand up and expose their lies and manipulations and not cave to them any longer.

Hillary got a bounce. Almost every party gets a bounce after their convention.
What Trump has to do is quit fighting that Muslim nobody and his fellow Republicans and refocus on Hillary, a third Obamaism term and their media allies. That's the playbook that got him here and can eliminate Hillary's bounce. Cut the crap and focus on the real goal.
I am in a Northeast, in a state Trump won with ease and which had actually been looking like it was in play for him. And all of this is taking a toll up here. A heretofore Trump suppoeter told me today he had decided to vote Libertarian after Trump’s continued reactive battles.
In short I believe the dropping polls and think he does have to get it turned around.
There had been talk of him making a big speech on economic policy right after the conventions. I wonder what has happened to that. I would guess infighting among advisors, with Trump resisting coming out qith more concrete positions.

But he had been up in FL and needs to do still better to also have hope in PA, which he needs as well.

Hillary a f’g bore to write about and the MSM is sympathetic to Leftists, so they’ll never do an investigative piece on her. Trump is interesting, even if the MSM has to create fake stories.
They’ve run out of steam on Trump “can’t win a primary”, “can’t break X % in the polls”, “can’t win 1237 delegates”, “#NeverTrump delegates”, “brokered convention”, “third party” stories.
Now the MSM just makes up stuff. After all they’ve been shown with the leaked Clinton emails they hold campaign fund-raisers for Hillary with impunity. Laws be damned. Who’s going to call them out on it The AG?
How much more corrupt can they get. Whatever they are, they’re certainly not sources of news.
Unfortunately, the bulk of the opulation doesn’t believe anything is significant until and unless MSM says it is. People can believe something is true but give it no significance at all and at the same time believe that the MSM is totally untrustworthy, but still will not pay attention to something if MSM doesn’t tell them to or will accept something as being terribly important if MSM says it is even if in the real world it is totally insignificant or false. It is not belief, it is acceptance.

it is posts like yours, and those that I see on Facebook right now, that I am convinced are agenda posts, meant to discourage that enthusiasm.
The uni-party, globalists, Cruzers, NeverTrumpers or whatever you want to call them, know that enthusiasm is abysmal for Clinton. Hell, they might not even show up for the free cigarettes and booze on the vote bus this year...
I still don't believe these manipulated polls, they have always been manipulated and in the past had enough power and influence over people to make them true in many circumstances.
It's the dawn of a different day now. So much has been exposed by Trump's presidential run and much of that is the deceptions and manipulations of the enemedia. In 2008, you had McCain allowing them to destroy Palin and thus he threw in the towel proving all the pollsters right. In 2012, you had Candy Crowley, saving 0bama on Bengazi and Romney didn't have the nads to fight it thus him throwing in the towel and proving all the pollsters right.
It is why I said we need to stop giving them so much power over us because they will deceive and manipulate till they get their desired results. I'm sure this has been going on for a long, long time and it needs to stop if we are to get our country back. I refuse to let them give that power over me as well as any patriotic American. Our media is now worse than the old Soviet Pravda and should be treated as such so quit giving me all that garbage that we should trust them as I DO NOT!

I agree it's disappointing but I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the Florida poll that shows him down by 4. After all this media excrement being thrown at him, I feared it would be worse. The Suffolk poll showed that 15% of Republicans were undecided. This means that Florida is still very winnable for him.

As much as I hate to say it, the world is so out-of-control right now that there are likely to be more serious terrorist attacks in the coming months - dare I say it - possibly on American soil. This is because Obama has surrendered our national security to political correctness and we're just sitting ducks. It's bound to happen because for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
I haven't given up hope and I encourage you to not do so, either.

You are using emotions just as they want you to. Its easy to coordinate and follow a signaled mainstream meme. Trump isn’t hiring these polling firms, democrats and media are so there’s a natural bias.
Most important of all is not the number of polls, it is the quality of each one individually. They pack in dems, exclude Trump voters, count all people and not likely voters...etc.
There are a million games happening, don’t fall for it.
