Sports Illustrated model Hannah Ferguson revealed filming Carl's Jr. ads which are known for their steamy campaigns is not as sexy as the commercials make it out to be.
"They had a spit bucket on the side, so every time I would take a bite out of the burger, this guy would have to run over with a bucket," she told Hamptons magazine. "I ate a few bites, but most of it I put in the spit bucket."

Girl needs to learn that “modeling” is a 24 hour job - releasing the nasty details of commercial work that makes the customer (Carl’s Junior) look bad makes you (the pretty actress/model/image-maker) get fired real quick for making the food look bad.

With the many “takes” that are very common in shooting commercials, the “spit bucket” has been around for many years.
It is not practical or possible to chew and swallow every bite, she would look like Rosie O’Donnell in two weeks...

Sometimes when you do a scene over and over you get pretty full after a while. I remember reading that professional wine tasters do the same thing.

That will happen soon anyway. By the time she is 40 she will be much less attractive.
That’s not making the food look bad. Everyone even slightly familiar with show business knows that actors in commercials, TV shows and movies use a spit bucket for takes involving eating. Otherwise you often couldn’t finish the scenes.
In her defense, they do so many takes on those jobs that I can understand her not eating the bites each time. In my own personal pride, I would try to down as many burgers as I could.
I eat a LOT of chicken but 2-3 times a month I’ll get a burger and add a baked potato
Here in the East, Carl’s operates as “Hardees”.
Their Angus “Thickburgers” - the base version without the extra toppings - are actually pretty darn good - easily better tasting than “upscale” burgers from FiveGuys, Smashburgers, etc
