Conservatives and Brownback loyalists were stomped in Kansas yesterday. But that’ super-good news. (By the way, the name “Trump” was barely mentioned by either side of the Congressional race.)
And.....YOU NAILED IT.
Exactly.
“Conservatives and Brownback loyalists were stomped in Kansas yesterday. But that super-good news. (By the way, the name Trump was barely mentioned by either side of the Congressional race.)”
Worth repeating!
‘Remember, the NeverTrump movement has categorized people who would vote for Trump almost exactly as the Democrats do - as racist, mouthbreathing bigoted morons.’
That is an excellent point. I remember when Cruz said I and the rest of the Trump supporters were only backing him because we’re low info voters. A little of that kind of snottery goes a long way. The rest of the insults, as you pointed out, didn’t help at all.
The neverTrump crowd never got tired of sticking their thumb in the eye of the people who were focused on defeating Hillary; now they reap what they sowed.
Your post sums up the problem with the pro-Cruz/neverTrumpers to a T. In your mind, it’s all about some slight to Trump. It would be impossible for you to be more mistaken.
The problem, from a conservative POV, is the peril the country faces. Eight years of Obama has all but finished us off. If we lose this one, we’re done. Wide open borders, mass amnesty, and a radical leftist SC for the next ~30 years will not leave anything resembling the USA of the past; all that will be gone forever.
In light of this FACT, conservatives watched the pro-Cruz/neverTrumpers with shock and fury. They were willing to sacrifice the entire country forever simply because they’d have preferred to see Trump lose. It’s almost more than a normal, rational conservative can process.
This is not some minor slight. This is giving it back to the face of the people who would so cavalierly have destroyed America. They get no more than what is coming to them.
Eight years of Obama HAVE all but finished us off.
I’m blaming auto correct.
‘I didnt get that memo.’
Guess you missed it to, from what I understand you need a super secret decoder ring to decipher it and the secret code is egnaro...
Gee this thread sure brings out the Cruz supporters.
Limbaugh just described Tim Huelskamp as a #NeverTrumper...I believe Limaguagh used the term “big time...”
Said may be outlier, but the GOP is watching this.

Thanks for that info—very interesting!
Shouldn’t the focus be HILLARY and other liberals this Novemenber, instead of constantly eating our own?
Thing is, it’s got a video of your buddy boy himself slamming Trump. Kinda hard to make that up, and it’s one of the only sites that still has the video instead of dumping it down the memory hole. Go watch the video for yourself.
Once Trump accrued enough delegates to secure the nomination, everyone’s focus should have been on defeating Hillary. But the neverTrumpers WANTED her to be selected don’t believe me? Have a look:

You can also watch him make a fool of himself on Fox News in this video segment here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=I-EkNBhXLNM
Is Fox News a good enough source, hm?
Coattails?
Has FR gone complete establishment now? Huelskamp was A FIGHTER and an outsider. We needed him

If Huelskamp was the real thing, his support should have gone to the Republican nominee or he should have kept his opinion to himself and stayed off the talk shows.
Idiots!!!
______________
Maybe the Cruzers did it. I've been reading through the thread and I see that Huelskamp did meet with Trump and thought he would probably win. Maybe that pissed off the #NeverTrump crowd.
Food for thought.
By whose rules? Is there anything to indicate he DIDNT support him?
Also many conservatives from KS on this forum, he said the election had nothing to do with Trump. His opponent didn’t endorse.
