McCain: Trump defamed Khan, does not represent GOP
cnn ^

Washington (CNN)Sen. John McCain accused Donald Trump of defaming Khizr Khan and argued the Republican presidential candidate does not represent the GOP.

"While our Party has bestowed upon him the nomination, it is not accompanied by unfettered license to defame those who are the best among us," McCain said in a statement Monday. Did Trump go too far? Trump's criticism of Khan after he spoke from the stage of the Democratic convention last week resurrected the billionaire developer's past comments accusing McCain of not being a war hero because he was captured in Vietnam.

You had a lot of company even among the high-toned set: he certainly raised a hubbub.

But, notably, that wasn’t all there was to the story.

Trump is the “enfant terrible” who actually does spot naked emperors parading around as though they were wearing Christian Dior (or in Khan’s case, Muslim... pun, pun). We’re going to have to be careful about what Donald says because it could be a trap for the left, and we can’t be trapped too.

I’d say, don’t worry. God knows what’s going on and seems to be cluing in Donald The Blunt about it. This does not make Donald an infallible oracle, but his record seems to recommend some patience.

McCain, this isnt about fame... McCain probably thinks Trump defamed him last year. He is an idiot. He cares about his fame? He cares about Khan’s fame? That’s what is important to McCain.

The Democrats famed him, first.

It does seem to be a time when we ought to reflect on what makes our own knees jerk, so to speak.

The Democrats tried to play on the common “conservative” game of swooning over whoever is associated with going to war, no matter under what circumstances.

Humayun’s own service might have been just fine, for all we can determine. That doesn’t mean his parents aren’t nutty or sold out to something that hates America.

McCain, over the years, has defamed every veteran who served in Vietnam at one time or another, as well as present veterans.

McCain is much worse than that. In spite of himself being a POW that he has used to great advantage he was personally responsible for impeding and halting any chances the families of his fallen brothers, those MIA and POW from ever being looked into or anything done. The families of those people despise him like no other while the average American defends this horrendous traitor as a a super patriot beyond reproach. Really messed up.

For those who might wamt poroof of the charges I’ll help you out if you have time and energy to look into it.

McCain is projecting.

When is he going to just come out of the closet and join the D’s?

All I can think about when I see McCain is the Keeting 5. He didn’t see prison for the same reason Hillary is not seeing prison over the server: His “official” crime was stupidity. That’s not illegal.

Maybe not, but Trump didn’t do himself any favors going down this avenue as he did.

McCain is so gone. Ward is going to clean his clock and send this traitor to the pasture. He epitomizes the GOP as the stupid party. Only idiots pick up their opponents false talking to attack their Presidential nominee. Trump didn’t defame anyone. The dead soldiers Dad did the defaming and he did it in a way that dishonors the service of his son who died bravely fighting Islamic radicals in Iraq. Instead he stands with a woman who simply did nothing when Americans needed her to send help in Benghazi the worst part is they didn’t even try to send help. He supports a woman who helped craft a foreign policy that led to the rise of ISIS in Iraq, Syria, and Libya. He defames his own son in attacking Donald Trump who has did nothing but honor and praise our brave soldiers who have died defending and going to war for our nation.

I’m sick of this BS. Just because the left claims outrage doesn’t mean that Republicans must give legitimacy to it. Thank God for Donald Trump for not just taking it and revealing these traitors like McCain and the media double standards for what they are.

McCain, WE are the party not you. Trump represents us a hell of a lot more than you. Are you too stupid to notice the we the people just chose him over 17 other candidates? Trump represents the choice of the majority of GOP voters. You represent your state only, and even that is debatable. You do not speak for the party. The last time you represented us, you went down in flames to a community organizer.

I hope Trump is taking notes and repays all these traitorous bastards (especially McCain, Lee, Ryan, Hanna, Romney) tenfold once he is President.

There are two crucial primaries for this country AZ and WI Ward vs McCain and Nehlen vs Ryan. Let’s hope the voters in these two districts do the right thing and are not out looking for Pokeman monsters instead of working the precincts. Our nation’s future as we knew it is at stake!!!! Please AZ and WI, help save America.

This info is GREAT and foolproof, but the average American has about a 12 to 13 second attention span and is more worried about texting and Candy Crush than having a president who murdered four Americans.
