Because many knew it’d be a one-way trip to Dachau if they didn’t vote for Hitler. Well that's some revisionism if ever I saw it. Hitler was overwhelmingly popular. Before the war. During the war. Up until the last year or so, even after it became blindingly obvious that Germany was gonna lose.
