Well said, aside from the infestations in Boulder and Denver counties, plus a few commies up in Fort Collins, the rest of the state is quite rural and conservative.
CCW is widespread for 2A support, farmers hate the EPA, and there just are not enough hippies in the hills.

It was interesting you read your assessment of Colorado. I mentioned up-thread about having family in Colorado. The Boulder family could not be more Liberal... The Fort Collins family is a mixed couple..one Republican..One Democrat. I think the University has converted much of Fort Collins into a Liberal environment. My grandparents were farmers in Fort Collins...”back in the day”... I remember walking to town with my grandmother to go to Woolworth's for ice cream! The town has certainly changed.
