It’s very simple: Whenever you enter the text for a link .. ALWAYS .. place a hard return at the end of it. When you do that .. it causes the link to activate .. and you’ll know it because it will cause a line underneath the link.
It’s an old rule - includes always adding a hard return at the end of a paragraph - even if you’re not going to add anymore text.
