Flash Floods Possible On Final Night Of DNC

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – City officials are urging residents and Democratic National Convention demonstrators to take caution because of potential strong storms and the possibility of flash floods throughout the region today.

The flash flood watch begins at 2 p.m. and continues through Friday at 7 p.m.

Weather.com says the warm-up mostly scattered t-storms will be til llish tonight...& then, just in time to catch the departing conventioneers, 9 hrs straight of t-storms in earnest followed by another up to 6 hrs. of scattered stuff.

Makes for a great natural illustration: Just as the Dems will be swept from the streets of Philly late tonight + overnight + a.m. hrs, they'll be swept from office thru out the land...

This will be more than just a POTUS sweep.
