Bradley Cooper's appearance at the Democratic National Convention Wednesday night has irked some conservative fans of the actor's portrayal of Navy SEAL Chris Kyle in 2014's "American Sniper."
Cooper was spotted by TV cameras seated at the meeting in Philadelphia alongside his Russian model girlfriend, Irina Shayk.
Some Twitter users say they plan to boycott Cooper's future films over his presence at the convention. Another commented that they thought his experience playing Kyle would have rubbed off on him.

If Cooper spoke at the convention it would be easier to understand. But he was just sitting in the stands and the networks kept cutting to him and his girlfriend. Of course he's a liberal and a Democrat, but getting mad at him for just being in the audience is nuts. He's from the Philadelphia area. It's his home town. If anybody thinks Bradley Cooper is nationally or internationally significant at least wait until he actually does something offensive before getting mad at him.
He *is* conservative and he's there getting sensitive information from the DNC on behalf of his Russian masters and the Trump campaign! It's so obvious!
Finally someone put 1 and 3 together... It is obvious, don't people watch spy movies anymore?
Politicians are excellent actors.

This is kind of shitty. He took on the role of American sniper with agreement that he would not tarnish Presque Isle’s name. I believe that he believed what he was doing to get the respect and permission to portray Kyle. I wrongly felt he had a duty to help hold those values. Oh well he just faked it for film.
