John McCain was a pilot in Viet Nam and there is no question that he and his fellow POWs suffered immeasurably in the Hanoi Hilton. For that we owe them all a debt of gratitude. Yet that does not give any one person the right to do harm to our country from a legislative position nor to put others in peril around the world by ill-conceived policy.
Since I have been in Congress, Senator John McCain has pushed an agenda ranging from blanket amnesty for illegal aliens to support for President Barrack Obamas and then Secretary of State Hillary Clintons disastrous Arab Spring endeavors that have made the United States much less safe as a result.
Sen. McCain has been relentless in demanding amnesty for people illegally in this country long before Barrack Obama became president. He has refused to use his vast seniority and political power to safeguard the American people by securing the border, but has, instead, been the best friend law-breaking immigrants in this country could have.

We're sorry you feel that way, but we did want a block of flats, nice though the abattoir is.Mr. Wiggins: "Oh sod the abattoir, that's not important. ... But if any of you could put in a word for me I'd love to be a mason. Masonry opens doors. I'd be very quiet, I was a bit on edge just now but if I were a mason I'd sit at the back and not get in anyone's way."
"Thank you."
Mr. Wiggins: ...I've got a second-hand apron.
Thank you.
Mr. Wiggins: I nearly got in at Hendon.
"Thank you."
My bases?
You’ll probably get push back on that, and somewhat deservedly so. None the less, I will have to admit that I have never bought the official story, and McCain being the irresponsible show-off he was, I don’t eliminate his possible involvement in the cause of the events that day.
It’s something I’ll never have an answer for.
“I had the great pleasure of tellin McLettuce to ESAD to his face
I figgerd it might help me get to heaven”
YUP....your balance sheet improved by at least 10% : )
Thank you????????
McCain was a very reckless pilot and lost two planes before being shot down in Vietnam, One in a training accident and another one under other circumstances.
Yes his Grandfather was a 4 star Admiral and his Father was the same as well as being CINPAC. Those are the reasons he got a pass in staying a aviation officer.
McCain never got higher than Captain when he came back, he was never Flag Material and when he finally got out the Navy was happy.
I believe the Forrestal Fire incident has now been debunked and that incident was not his fault.
Otherwise he was a lousy pilot and a squad leader.
He had a part in the fire on the Forestall that almost got George Bush killed.
Yes, yes was inside the Forestal’s fire - his plane did (eventually) explode due to that fire and kill others on the flight deck. It is not clear if his plane was the one that actually fired off the first rocket that started the blaze.
George W Bush was an Air Force supersonic high-altitude, very high speed intercepter fighter pilot during the Vietnam war, and his kind of airplane (F-102/F-106) was NOT assigned to the ground attack and Mig defenses needed over there.
Bush I was a decorated USN pilot, but way back in WWII.
bless you, and me
I will do my part to give him his walking papers!
Your post read as if Patton himself, wrote it
I had a tear
I take that as high praise indeed FRiend, thank you.
He was one of the pilots involved in the Forrestal fire, but to be fair, he was more of a victim than a cause. If I remember, a missile cooked off his plane and struck another aircraft. He jumped from his plane into the middle of the fire.
Not that that diminishes the damage he’s done as a senator.
Jimmah Carter was in the Navy, too. Can’t stand either one of them.
Going to a Kelli Ward event tomorrow night.
If McCain’s father was not a bigwig in the military circles McCain would have been thrown out of the military long before he was in vietnam
He set another aircraft on fire with his aircraft once, pulling a stupid joke
He’s about 20 years past “thank you and goodbye” and is firmly in the GTFO range now.
“Our Esteemed Founder is on the record as having called McCain “a treasonous bastard” and I have no doubt his view of that vile snake remains unchanged.”
Jim was merely being kind : )
