He was my congressman in the mid 80's. Back then he was honest, had an open door policy and looked people in the eye.

Then he changed parties and his heart seemed to turn dark. When Clinton was elected he left congress to take a desk in the White House and it seemed his main job was co-liar and cover up man.

When he left D.C. he was rewarded with his own think tank at the newly created U.C. Monterey Bay campus where he was (An probably still is) drawing down about $1,000 a day. All he has to do is show up when the Clintons call and keep his mouth shut about what he learned as a key player on their team.

Then by your own testimony, he "went dark" a quarter of a century ago. He may have been honest and aboveboard before then, but certainly not now...
