Yes, anything which rotates works good. We had a “set it and forget it” rotisserie oven, and it did a great job on whole turkey and chicken. Turkey came out moist and uniformly cooked. regular oven dries out the meat unless you baste it many times.
We also use the flavor wave oven which works with a light source for heat. Microwaves are only good for heating liquids and soups.
