As FRs professional telecom guy, VOIP is pretty standard, and folks don’t realize the downside of hack potential because once someone gets your IP layout could be spoofed.

Zactly.

I have to teach my customers how not Self implode.

I even develop plans about “Who” should be authorized to forward emails as a matter of security protocols.

As an It guy, I agree.

Further, most clients want their voicemail digitized and emailed to them, pretty standard.

I’m guessing: dummycrats hired the lowest bidder, affirmative action contractor or one of their buddies to setup their system. Obviously the integrator (for both email and voice) is incompetent.

They were probably forwarding the voice mails to their email account, which of course got pwned. lol
