Key Democratic lawmakers on Wednesday urged the White House to publicly release any information about Russias alleged involvement in the hack of the Democratic National Committee's (DNC) emails.
Given the grave nature of this breach and the fact that it may ultimately be found to be a state-sponsored attempt to manipulate our presidential election, we believe a heightened measure of transparency is warranted, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) wrote in a Wednesday letter to President Obama.
ADVERTISEMENT Feinstein and Schiff are the ranking members of the Senate and House Intelligence committees, respectively.
The two lawmakers asked that the administration declassify any intelligence assessments that could illuminate potential Russian motivations for what would be an unprecedented interference in a U.S. presidential race, and why President Putin could potentially feel compelled to authorize such an operation, given the high likelihood of eventual attribution.

The following line will kill this idea. Do you believe that they truly want the motivations known?
“”The two lawmakers asked that the administration declassify any intelligence assessments that could illuminate potential Russian motivations for what would be an unprecedented interference in a U.S. presidential race, and why President Putin could potentially feel compelled to authorize such an operation, given the high likelihood of eventual attribution.””
While they’re at it, maybe they can release information about the Obama administration’s efforts to interfere with the election in Israel in an attempt to defeat Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Dems are going nuts trying to deflect from their disgusting magic show - look over here Russia, Russia, Russia - no need to read those emails!
It's not like the Russians were hacking into a secure network used for national security. Right?
I thought the whole thing about the Russians is something Hitlery’s campaign manager pulled out of his arse.
Maybe the Dems want a picture of his arse?
Post #7 “I thought Hillary did not risk top secret, special access classified information.”
I thought it was interesting to see F Einstein (no typo) leading the charge against HRC. The Clinton Crime Family’s War-Time Consiglieri, Donna Brazile has already stated the emails were ‘tampered with”.
That will be the meme ~ Trump and Putin colluded and conspired in “A Vast Rightwing American/Soviet conspiracy in order to soil her impeccable credentials. Move on.
They don’t know what they are asking for.
They might just get it....................................
The Clinton contradictions are as obvious as the Clinton Corruption. It’s pointless anymore to expect better out of the media. Even Krauthammer and George Will are in the tank on the Russian connection to Trump.
I never saw such drivel as Krauthammer responding to Brett Baier and using ifacouldamighta language from start to finish. And Baier didn’t question a bit of the bilge spewing from Krauthammer’s lips.
Not only are they saying they did, but they are terrified that it is the Russians behind it.
This tells me that we are deeper into ISIS in the middle-east than anyone realizes.
NWO is upon us, and we are it.
OMG! The rats dirt has been exposed!
Kill the messenger!
Very good!
I love Trump.
I love Trump too! Wonder what the WH response will be?
Uh, if they had this evidence, then they would have had it MONTHS AGO, and they would have released it then.
And the question of the DNC interference with the Democrat primary campaigns will be addressed by whom?
Darn, the Dems are on panic mode big time today!
Don’t worry, Obama has Dan Rather on the job.
Their control is disintegrating. I love it!!
And Obama’s meddling in the recent BREXIT vote...
