Flying used to be a luxury only the rich could afford. Advances in the airline industry making travel more efficient and affordable have expanded the mobility of hundreds of millions of Americans.
But a decision by the Environmental Protection Agency is likely to take air travel backward.
The EPA on Monday released a final “endangerment finding” that greenhouse gases from large commercial aircraft cause climate change and endanger “Americans’ health and the environment.”
It comes as no surprise that the Obama administration would reach to the skies and add airplanes to the list of its regulatory targets. The administration has been eager to regulate as many sources of greenhouse gas emissions as possible–including cars, trucks, gasoline, and power plants, among others.

If planes are so dangerous to the environment, Obama should probably stop flying air force 1 around to campaign stops and fundraisers.
And maybe the feds should stop having “conferences” in Hawaii.

This is a good point because air transport will always be dependent on fossil fuels because the extension cord will get in the way.
We could electrify trains, and this would be a positive for the Climate change community (of which I am not).
Mobility of the subjects is always a sore point with totalitarians. The idea that a citizen can just jump on a plane and go somewhere or get in a car or ride a bus without registering destination and waypoints with the Authorities and can do it without the leave of an 0ffice is horrifying to leftists of all apparent stripes. Mrs Bill signaled her thoughts on that pretty strongly with her “Hillarycare” attempt back in the 90s. One facet was that if you wish to maintain your “coverage” when you travel outside of your designated Zone you have to register with a Federal Office that could deny your application to maintain that coverage.

If he is not going to abolish the EPA (and the DOE and the other DOE and a myriad of other Agencies) then his Presidency will avail liberty and America exactly nothing.
The EPA — just another item for Trump’s clean out list of Obama political and taxation weapons. Obama’s deliberate overreach activities should have had him impeached and thrown out years ago. Thank the complicit and corrupt GOPe for not doing their job.

Patriots also need to consider that the states have never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate and appropriate taxes for greenhouse gas emissions. This is evidenced by the following excerpt.
“Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States.” —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
Also consider that lawmakers are letting constitutionally undefined federal agencies like the EPA steal legislative branch powers so that such agencies can do Congress’s unconstitutional legislative work for it imo. This is because, by keeping their voting records clean, corrupt lawmakers are able to fool low-information patriots, patriots who do not understand the fed’s constitutionally limited powers, into reelecting them imo.

Patriots need to support Trump / Pence by also electing a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to not only support Trump’s vision for making America great again for everybody, but will also put a stop to unconstitutonal federal taxes and unconstitutional federal interference in state affairs as evidenced by EPA regulations.
Note that such a Congress will also probably be willing to fire state sovereignty-igoring activist justices.
Another reason this rogue and unconstitutional agency should be abolished.
