Easy for landscaping, construction, mom and pop restaurants and other similiar businesses to hire illegal labor. But corporations similiar to McDonald's will automate their restaurants by installing kiosks in all of them.

But, we have been told by corporatists that raising the minimum wage would kill jobs. If what you are saying is true than that obviously would not happen. Some fields like construction some unscrupulous contractors will hire and keep them off the books. Bur, it would be a real chore for others. Some in the fast food are fighting high minimum wages by setting up IT order takers. Obviously those jobs are going away.
