DORAL, Fla. — Donald J. Trump said Wednesday that he hoped Russia had hacked Hillary Clinton’s email, essentially sanctioning a foreign power’s cyberspying of a secretary of state’s correspondence.
“Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing,” Mr. Trump said, staring directly into the cameras. “I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press.”
Mr. Trump’s call was an extraordinary moment at a time when Russia is being accused of meddling in the U.S. presidential election. His comments came amid questions about the hacking of the Democratic National Committee’s computer servers, which researchers have concluded was likely the work of two Russian intelligence agencies.
Later in the news conference, when asked if he was really urging a foreign nation to hack into the private email server of Mrs. Clinton, or at least meddle in the nation’s elections, he dismissed the question. “That’s up to the president,” Mr. Trump said, before finally telling the female questioner to “be quiet — let the president talk to them.”
The Clinton campaign immediately accused Mr. Trump of both encouraging Russian espionage against the United States and meddling in domestic politics.
“This has to be the first time that a major presidential candidate has actively encouraged a foreign power to conduct espionage against his political opponent,” said Jake Sullivan, Mrs. Clinton’s chief foreign policy adviser. “This has gone from being a mattter of curiosity, and a matter of politics, to being a national security issue.”
Mr. Trump has largely dismissed assertions that Russia was behind the Democratic committee breach as conspiracy theories — a view he reiterated again when he said the hack “is probably not Russia.”

Once again Trump trolls the incompetent democrats and they do not even realize they are being trolled.
This is the Democrat media’s desperate attempt to deflect the fact that Hillary betrayed US intelligence when she hid her accounts on private servers that could easily be hacked by our enemies.
The Times never howled about her dangerous deception and betrayal of her office, as they are screaming that Trump has done... what?…made a joke of her obvious lie that 33,000 emails were about her daughter’s wedding and her mother’s funeral? Surely, the NYT scribblers have descended into active insanity, frothing at their mouths as their brains are deteriorating.
Like all of us the Brown Shirt Media can’t believe that a guy like Trump would want the headaches of running for, much less, being President. They take this to mean that he has to have some nefarious purpose and trying to discover it is making them even more crazy than normal.
Anyone notice that when “leaks” are made, the entire media colluded based on whether the leaks hurt or help (D) or (R)? There has been thousands of gallons of ink talking about the supposed source of the leaks, but very little ink outside of the conservosphere about the contents. This is the same tactic used against the climategate dumps. However, when somebody hacked sarah palins emails, the media literally hired thousands of people to read every last email and find any teeny tiny incriminating piece of text.
It is brilliant. The MSM and DNC’s initial reaction is going to be “How can you wish a foreign country to access top secret emails!”
In which he’ll reply “but she said they were all personal emails. Why should they be in their reach in the first place?”
