A great many pubic school teachers duffer from cognitive dissonace - over pay vs. work time, personal vs. school moral/social positions, union membership and union’s political/social directives, classroom inclusion of mentally challenged, student discipline, school Godlessness, sexism/male bashing, etc.
Point out any of those to a teacher and the c. d. kicks in, and it’s ugly.
