The sister of my DIL is the product of the People’s Republic of Maryland. She majored in some kind of enviromental stuff.
She moved south and to get a job”in her field” drove a subcompact car around collecting water samples prepared by others. Since the job paid minimum wage she had to supplement it by waiting tables. Fortunately, she was able to get a mortgage to buy a house, a fixer upper. Knowing nothing about fixing up, she endured the problems.
When he couldn’t get her on the phone, her dad came from Maryland to visit and discovered she shouldn’t pay the phone bill and keeping the lights on was problematic.
Then a white knight in the form of an Army Officer appeared from the past and they got married. There was no evidence of the military at their wedding. They never were described as living at an army base but as near by in a known city. all mention of the army was discouraged.
Later, she would not leave her home to follow her husband as he moved from post to post..... even to West Point.
She tried or said to try to get a job with an environmental firm in his absence where she established her self. But as luck would have it she couldn’t get along with the company because the work was not really in her field.
The woman is an ideological basket case and a total human failure
