Last week the news networks did blockbuster ratings. How big? Lets break it down in a couple ways.
During the four days of the Republican National Convention, CNN drew the most viewers overall for total day (6am-6am).
Total Day Live +Same Day viewing, July 18-21: CNN: 44,754,000 Fox News: 41,519,000 MSNBC: 28,943,000
Meanwhile, Fox News Channel was the most-watched cable channel in prime time for the full 7-day week in both total viewers and in the A25-54 demo. The channel was also number one in total day viewing among total viewers and No. 2 in the A25-54 demo.

Prefer C-Span—seeing and hearing what is being done and said, minus the talking heads’ filter and interpretation!
What about cspan?
We don’t get C-Span and found that CNN seemed to be showing more of the actual convention and less of the commentary than FOX.
Cspan is the way to go. I care less what mascara boy has to say.
Fox commentators are mostly DNC clowns who can’t keep their mouths shut
How do they know this? How do they get the numbers? Was I counted and if so, how did they do it?
Was there a poll? Did it include c-Span, which we watched?
We watched it live via the internet on cspan.org. Great. Nobody telling me what i just saw and heard. Nobody stepping on the current speaker.
Fox has been painful to watch. Specifically Brit Hume. He’s a walking Hillary ad and a spokesman for anti-depressants.
Nielsen doesn’t monitor the size of CSPAN’s audience because Nielsen ratings are about determining advertising revenue. CSPAN is non-profit.
Weren’t we just told this week the RNC convention generated the lowest viewing ratings compared with mitt and McCain conventions ?! Lying bastards... One more reason why we should not believe cable ratings and election polls!
Would rather watch CNN than NeverTrump News.
Pray America wakes
I wanted to see the speakers, not Ted Baxter
Yeah, noticed Brit Hume and his ‘girl’, MeAgain, in the tank for Hillary;
Also, notice how MeAgain takes over the show when Brett Baier is co-host???? She must be trying to push him out of her way. Watch out Mascara boy, you might be next....lol
I watched the Convention on CSPAN as well.i just couldn’t stand all of the interruptions from the Fox talking heads.
I’m sure CNN was just as bad unless you include the viewers trapped in airports that have only that channel to view.
What do you think CNN commentators are, conservatives?
The Nielsen ratings, those little black boxes attached to tvs and dvrs in about 40,000 homes which monitor what channels are being watched.
Those numbers are for the Republican convention.
