Have you ever been to Benihana's restaurant? Japanese chefs are quite adept and fast with knives. That having been said, these were mostly handicapped victims, unlikely they were standing around.

I actually worked with Muslim engineers in Japan. But these were the type who actually worked and were really MINO (in name only) types. One guy, an Iranian, could even drink his Japanese colleagues under the table.

There are a couple of mosques, one in Kobe and one in Tokyo. The one in Tokyo doubles as the Turkish Cultural Center. They know how to separate the harmless ones from the jihadis, something our immigration people have yet to figure out.

Just watched news here in Japan . Not much info being released on the perp , etc...yet . I lived in Sagamihara when I came to Japan in 1985 . Big city of around 750,000 people . US Army base there .

It's immensely difficult for a Japanese purchase an actual sword. It's easier for a foreigner to obtain a license to buy one on condition it leaves the country. But knives? Best in the world with a fetish for ungodly sharpness.

Most likely someone skilled with a katana. (Remember the film Kill Bill?) Also the attack was in a handicapped center so most of the victims probably couldn't run. Terrible.
