Depends on their goals. If they want Bernie instead, drop before the convention is over. If they want to inflict maximum damage, wait until Thursday night during her speech.
Clearly, the maximum impact on the general election of Clinton-damaging emails would happen after the adjournment of the DNC convention.Maximum excitement would occur if proof of Clinton Foundation acceptance of foreign government money while Hillary was in office (Senator or SoState). The “appearance of impropriety” Dems love to accuse Reps of would stink to high heaven.
Leaving the Dems to decide if they wanted to anoint someone who clearly should be in jail, or tough it out.
