Sarah Palin Saturday slammed liberal and feminist websites that mocked the wife of Republican vice presidential candidate Mike Pence for running a small business on the Internet that sells "towel charms."
"Absolutely amazes me that the liberal mindset allows mocking the American work ethic," the former Alaska governor said on Facebook. "Belittling an entrepreneurial spirit got us into the mess we're in with dependency on a failed, bankrupt government. "Big-government libs love the cycle of dependency because with it comes control of those who are dependent," Palin said.
Jezebel and other sites have bashed Karen Pence's company, That's My Towel Charm Inc., which sells items that be placed on towels to prevent them from being lost or taken by someone else.
"Karen Pence, Your Future Second Lady, Sells the Least Useful Item in Existence," screamed the headline on a July 15 report on Jezebel.

At the liquor store I go to, they sell wine glass charms, which I guess there is another niche market for. They clip onto the stem of a wine glass so that you don't pick up somebody else's glass by accident.

Liberalism really is a mental disorder. A maturity disorder at the very least.
A lovely friend of mine lives on a farm in Maine. She shears her own sheep, spins the wool and knits beautiful baby sweaters. My sister set up a website to sell her items, and she got so many orders she couldn’t keep up with them. She could have, I suppose, hired someone to take over some of the aspects of the business, but that would have changed the total “start-to-finish” handcrafting of the product.
Anyway, she made quite a bit of money for a little while.
I used to quilt and sell my items at craft fairs. I did great for a while until China flooded the market with cheap quilts.
Women who start their own businesses face a lot of hard work and struggle, and it doesn’t help when “feminists” mock you for your endeavors at entrepreneurship and self-reliance.
I thought the left told us Obamacare made it possible for folks to find self expression.
Yep. Have used the glass charms at gatherings. Nifty idea, really. As I am constantly washing towels that can be a couple of times.
