The Talk Shows
July 24th, 2016
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Joel Benenson, chief strategist for Hillary Clinton.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Donald J. Trump; Bernie Sanders.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): President Barack Obama (taped).
THIS WEEK (ABC): Sen. Bernie Sanders. I-Vt.; Robby Mook, campaign manager for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton; Paul Manafort, campaign chairman for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): Mook; Donald Trump Jr., son of the Republican presidential candidate.
Wow!
I didn’t know any of that.
Great info! Thanks.
Are people talking about all the gifts Kane received while in office? Also, Kane never having a real a job in the private sector should be discussed. Wallace is not very tough on Hillary but goes after Trump very hard.
As an early Cruz fan I was heartbroken at Ted’s behavior. It was political suicide, but Trump’s attention and resources must be focused elsewhere
Disagree.
Your argument is like saying you can't walk and chew gum at the same time.
It is time to once and for all end #NEVERTRUMP. If it takes talk of a super PAC bent on destroying the careers of those throwing monkey wrenches into the campaign's spokes, and result in Trump losing, and Hillary winning, then we should all be for it.
Seriously? If Hillary, who your correctly say is the enemy, is SUPPORTED by Cruz and Kasich, how can they not also be considered an enemy? Do you seriously think giving an interview to NBC News about how awful Trump is and how he's not going to win is helpful to Trump--or Hillary?
As far as effectiveness goes, Kasich is already talking about the possibility of endorsing Trump.
The proof is in the pudding. Productive, not counter productive.
And what was in it.
Hillary’s big talking point now his how full of hate the Republican Convention was. The media is full of hate toward Trump. They seem to love Clinton and her running mate and hate everything Trump says. The news is always biased and favors the Democrat candidate. Trump should keep exposing the bias in the media.
Rush and Levin will explain this and how it is just another attack on Saint Cruz.
Just seeing and hearing Hillary speak upsets many Americans.
She is so flawed.
ABC levels harsh charge, that Trump's NATO stance (conditional assistance to members) assists ISIS. Manafort says the ISIS danger is due to Obama's and Clinton's actions, not Trump's actions. The lawlessness and terrorism are due to Obama and Clinton policies, failed leadership.
Manafort points out that Trump's stance is that NATO is a two-way street, this is not controversial. US weakness creates a chaotic world.
ABC floats claim that Russia behind Wikileaks, which means there is a tie between Putin and the Trump campaign. LOL. Stephanopolis said that with a straight face. Wants a congressional investigation into whether Putin is interfering with the US election (wikileaks). Bill Kristol claim, there are ties between Putin and the Trump campaign. Funny stuff.
On the "dark tone" of the acceptance speech - Manafort delivers a good rebuttal, says that Trump laid out what he was going to do, trade deals, energy policy, tax cuts, regulation cuts, health care, veterans rights ... on and on he talked solutions, this is not dark, except to DEMs.
Are you really going to spend time in Connecticut and Oregon? Yes, says Manafort, the GOP map is expanding, CT is shown as a tie right now. The DEM coalition is not cracking, it is broken.
Speculation that Roger Ailes is going to be advising the Trump campaign. is that true? Manafort doesn't know, but says Ailes will be missed at FoxNews (not necessariily by the workers there, but the "fair and balanced" delivery).
Wallace throws under hand soft balls when interviewing most Democrats.

There is a lot ore but this is all I can find for now.
He needs bigger and better whiskers if he wants to keep his face warm.
Cruz is through politically,Kasich has not self destructed yet but is on that path.
Trump is bringing it up, and comparing Kane with McDonald. He did that this morning in taped interview with NBC/Todd.
Plus, whenever Hillary tries to raise her voice to be dramatic (WHEN she’s not busy coughing), she sounds like a screechy harridan who grates on the nerves of men and women alike. Unless they’re in the media, of course.
I doubt I can even watch news highlights this coming week - there may be a lot of Food Network and Weather Channel on.
Britt and Georgie Will is going to let us know why Clinton is the better choice. Britt claiming no convention bounce without any proof.
Georgie thinks the leaks are no big deal and Hillary is wonderful. He can’t wait to vote for her.
Cruz and Kasich are gambling Trump will lose. Their problem may be that they are blamed if Trump loses.
Rush is pretty much through with the dirty teddy. He sees the light. As for Mark Levin and Glen Beck they are both on the ledge threatening to fall or jump over as a hurricane approaches.
