No Ted Cruz fan, but this is bogus. Cruz did send out fund raising emails to his supporters to raise money to protect his delegates in Cleveland. A DNC operative was on the list, no doubt to track what Cruz was doing.

Cuccinelli, the head of the Cruz campaign in VA, was just following up with another blanket letter. Nothing sinister here. Initially, I was fooled like you.

“Cruz did send out fund raising emails to his supporters to raise money to protect his delegates in Cleveland.”

That was deception in itself. “Need $500,000 now!!!” I would get emails like that myself, saying the money was needed “Now!!!” etc. to save the planet.

Perhaps so, but given Cruz’s recent behavior, he’s going to have a very difficult time getting anyone here to give him the benefit of the doubt.

“Nothing sinister here.”

Don't know about ‘sinister’, but even the fact that they were sending fundraising emails like this, implying (although not specifying) an effort to bully their delegates by the Trump campaign is dirty as usual politics used against a fellow Republican candidate.
