Cannot excerpt as a USAToday originated story. Today there is a story that 1000 attended her prom. Not certain if posting a link is even acceptable. But I could not find the story elsewhere.

From the article, it appears she plans to kill herself.
Very sad story. However, I agree with her decision.
She is the one living in that pain-racked body, not me.
The tubes will not be removed till late next month.
I believe that was the plan.
Hard to tell from the journalism.
Whenever I feel the colors of mourning descend upon me, I’m constrained from my taking my own life because God hath decreed a canon ‘gainst self-slaughter.
To rephrase Hamlet, all the weary purposes of the world are fit and profitable to me.
Not her right. None of us own our lives; those belong to God.
She’s making her own decision to stop using artificial means to stay alive. If God wants to keep her alive he can.
sad story...the good die young while the evil continue....Lord, send us some light.....
Yup.
>Not her right. None of us own our lives; those belong to God.
Then God needs to make her 100% healthy. No God I know lets innocents suffer.
Not sure I could tell someone how to die.
I don’t know which god you’re talking about. But the One I know of had to let His Son (the most innocent of all) suffer an excruciating death to pay the penalty for all mankind’s sins, which that Son was willing to do.
I’m not telling anyone how to die, myself. I do know that none of the followers of God ever committed suicide, though; although many were murdered and some died from illness (e.g. Elisha).
God has already done that ...
the LORD Jesus Christ allowed them to whip Him so that she can be healed...
and by His strips we ARE healed... Isaiah 53:3
she just needs to accepted her healing...
Isaiah 53:5
Yup. People, have the right to accept or decline, or change their mind, about what kind of medical treatment they do and do not want.
There are no innocents, if you were to ask God. Kind of why He had to take such a drastic measure of sacrificing His Son for all of our sin debts.
Thanks for clarifying. I had read one response of intent to kill herself and got the wrong idea.
