Those of us who were fooled by Cruz's game shouldn't feel guilty about it. Cruz has that initial presentation down to perfection. His biggest flaw is that he's so self-absorbed and so convinced of his destiny, that he never acknowledges him or his campaign making a mistake.

I just did some quick research. Messianic complex is, indeed, a recognized psychological disorder. The description sounds a lot like Cruz.
