Brian Williams On Munich Attack: Rooting For It Not To Be ISIS
BY: Chandler Gill July 22, 2016 6:47 pm
Hours after the attack in Munich, Germany, MSNBCs Brian Williams said it was a strange feeling to root for this attack to not be related to the Islamic State.
And why does it feel so strange to kind of root for it not being ISIS? he asked.
Williams then said that he was hoping this attack would break the cycle of IS attacks. This comes after the recent attacks in Istanbul, Turkey, and Nice, France in which multiple innocent people were tragically killed at soft target locations.
IS claimed responsibilities for these.
To kind of you know, to break the cycle even though every death is an absolute tragedy and this just means we have deranged people without the affiliation, you know? Williams said.
Journalist Richard Engel had pointed out that there has been no proof that confirmed that this was IS.
We dont know that this was ISIS and its possible that it wasnt, he said. The assumption, and its a logical assumption based on all the attacks that weve seen recently, that it is ISIS, but there are certain things that are very unusual about this.
Engel cited that there was a small number of casualties, as well as the use of very small weapons and that these do not match typical IS-inspired strikes.
He added that with the small number of deaths, that this could be indicative of the attacker fleeing, which is also not common in ISI attacks.

Sick. Is Williams implying there is some kind of terrorism that he's willing to stomach to avoid having to face the false media narrative about Islam? Sure sounds like it.
Perhaps Brian should do an exposé on Chevy gas tanks. With him standing right next to one after he lit the match.
Frick’n parasite!
“Why is the left like this?”
The only conclusions I can come to are: 1) They are insane
2) They are drugged out 3) They are stupid 4) They are really bad, God-less people
ISIS is just one of many groups that go by many different names - they are legion. They are murderous islamic terrorists.
How about meanings of words?

If there is some entry under there that applies, then point it out. But “I’m done with you” is a temper tantrum, not an argument.
It actually has practical implications... we might find that future situations are even worse. Then are they the pure evil, and the situations we called pure evil, really impure because they were not so bad?
Let’s say, but for the grace of God, ANY situation on earth could be worse. Can we thank God that an evil act was not worse? If we can’t, we are fatally losing gratitude towards Him.
Of course you are right mrsmel. It is absolute evil to murder an innocent child.
No kidding. 9 dead (I don’t count the slime) - that ain’t small. Sad that it’s coming to that.
Quote:
“Media scumbags, we need to run them out of town.”
Not good enough. They need to be decorating lamp posts.
Would it be double the absolute evil to murder two innocent children?
The point I want to make is, that the depredations of the devil are ALWAYS in tension against the grace of God.
If we cannot thank God for the protection that we take for granted but is actually due to His grace, even when a degree of permission has been granted to the devil, then we might find ourselves with less protection in the future — not more.
If there something like an absolute evil, an evil that operates without a single restraint, it is found in hell; not on earth.
Don’t bother me.
Did Lyin’ Brian talk about how he personally went to Germany & kicked the guy’s @ss?
You might address that to God.
It’s getting caught in the rage, judge, and seethe cycle that got this fellow where he was, too. The only difference is one of observed magnitude.
Can we stop to give gratitude to God? That no more were killed? The bible says to make prayers with THANKSGIVING. This is not possible without recognizing what God has done.
Lie to the sheep at the slaughterhouse and keep them calm during the slaughter. That’s what the MSM is doing. Wakeup America.
“Lie to the sheep at the slaughterhouse and keep them calm during the slaughter. Thats what the MSM is doing. Wakeup America.”
Scary as hell, and dead on accurate.
A true wake-up would be to God. To just “wake up” to private indignation would be only to wake up to how strong we are in our own selves... which to be frank is pitiful right now even by historical standards.
God cares — but God is waiting for all to care about Him too.
It would prove Trump correct on all counts regarding Obummer and Hitlery’s complete and utter incompetence regarding foreign affairs, etc, etc, etc...
“It would prove Trump correct on all counts regarding Obummer and Hitlerys complete and utter incompetence regarding foreign affairs, etc, etc, etc...”
There’s so much more for all of us to know. In my opinion though, I don’t believe incompetence is the problem....I think it’s much worse than that.
We don’t have a “pure evil” problem.
We have a “failure to recognize Pure Goodness” problem.
Birth of a tagline
If we have a problem with Lies, the cure is not just to say they are Lies — the cure is to get the Truth.
And, shocking as it is to us, Pure Truth is not even a body of information. It is a Person. The Person of God.
